The article analyzes the concepts of professional orientation on the basis of research, and reveals the essence and content of professional orientation and military-professional orientation of cadets of military educational institutions and its impact on the development of the future profession.

The article is devoted to the history of physical training in the time period from the Russian army to the Russian Armed forces. The main stages of development of physical training, its role in different historical periods are considered. Examples of works of the figures who made a significant contribution to the development of physical education of the soldier are given. It indicates the exceptional need for this type of training for military people. And also the concept for the future construction of the armed forces until 2020 is considered.

The article is devoted to for the special military operation of Armed Forces of Russia in Ukraine. Actuality of the conducting and the elaboration in literature are explained, corresponding conclusions are drawn. The aim of the article consists of the author's aspiration to deepen the knowledge of teachers and cadets about the essence of the special military operation of Armed Forces of Russia in Ukraine.

It analyzes historical prerequisites and current challenges, including traditional threats such as military aggression, as well as new forms of confrontation, such as cyber warfare and hybrid conflicts. Particular attention is paid to the role of the Armed Forces, the defense-industrial complex, and international cooperation in ensuring national security. The importance of a comprehensive approach to safeguarding the country's sovereignty and stability is emphasized.
