The author reflects the results of the study on topic “Violence against women in the family”. The author analyzes the scale of the problem, correlation of social and demographic characteristics (age, education, income) and frequency of violence against women in the family.

This paper is devoted to the development of tools measuring the level of creativity of students, experi-mental results are presented on the analysis of questionnaires developed based on the theory of measure-ment of latent variables. The main result is the recommendation for the correction of sets of items of the questionnaire.

The issues of formalization of the object of research in the framework of the student's mastering of the professional competence PC-2 «The ability to apply subject knowledge in the implementation of the educational process». The possibility of predicting the success of education in a higher educational institution based on the results of passing the Unified State Exam is analyzed.
