The article deals with actual problems of modern school education. The author analyzes the materials of the sociological research, held in Togliatti in 2017. The purpose of the interview was to obtain sociological information reflecting the attitude of parents of pupils status and ordinary schools to reform school education. Today is the reform and modernization of education, including school. The education system is a mixed picture with positive and negative trends. According to the author, parents negatively disposed to some innovations in the educational process and give a pessimistic Outlook regarding the future of the Russian school.
