The article discusses the main concepts of the theory of logic, which is taught in the school course of mathematics and computer science: logically true sentence (logical truth), predicate, false statement, laws. The basic laws of logic and examples of their use in specific tasks are presented. The authors emphasize the specificity of "logically true sentences" concept study in a school course. The article presents examples of logical thinking use at different stages of activity during the study of mathematics and computer science.

This article analyzes the evaluative units in the works of A.P. Chekhov, as well as determines the conditions and methods for their translation into English and German. The results of the study can be used in further classification of evaluation types, as well as in comparing evaluations in translations of different authors.

This article deals with different features of poetry translation. Due to the structural and aesthetic peculiarities of a poetic text, its translation is a rather difficult task for a translator. The author presents a comparative analysis of the use of various translation techniques applied in poetic translation, exemplified by translations of poems by S.A. Yesenin into English.
