This article examines the problems associated with teaching Russian to foreign servicemen at an aviation university. The authors propose a method of using literary texts in the lessons of the Russian language as a foreign.
The article is devoted to the consideration of synonyms and synonymic relations in the work of the great Russian poet Sergei Yesenin. The author, when analyzing fragments from S. Yesenin's poems, highlights the main functions of synonyms that are most often found in the poet's work. In conclusion, the author of the article comes to the conclusion that the use of synonyms increases the expressiveness of the poet's works and avoids monotony in speech.
This article deals with different features of poetry translation. Due to the structural and aesthetic peculiarities of a poetic text, its translation is a rather difficult task for a translator. The author presents a comparative analysis of the use of various translation techniques applied in poetic translation, exemplified by translations of poems by S.A. Yesenin into English.
This article analyzes the pedagogical potential of Ya. P. Polonsky's poetic legacy in the context of teaching Russian as a foreign language. The importance of incorporating the poet's works into the Russian as a foreign language curriculum at levels A2–B1 is substantiated. Methodological recommendations and specific exercises for working with two poems ("Tish" and "On the Railroad"), adapted for levels A1 and B2, respectively, are presented. As a result of the study, key criteria for selecting poetic texts for Russian as a Foreign Language (RFL) were confirmed (absence of archaisms, rhythmic clarity, frequency of vocabulary, accessibility, absence of complex metaphors, cultural significance, and appropriateness to the learners' language level).
