The paper discusses the formation of ethnic tolerance in multicultural space of elementary school. Currently, more than ever there is a need to talk about ethnic tolerance of younger schoolboys, as foundation for development of an individual citizen. Special relevance of tolerance education gets in a multicultural environ-ment where you need to avoid situations inequalities children in their rights and duties. Multilanguage student environment often leads to selectivity in communication, national isolation groups.

Today, Russia is facing challenges of full modernization, which for her critically coincided with the problem of its integration into the world community in the conditions of globalization is a new phenomenon. There-fore, in the real conditions of the early modernization of society, collectivist -oriented Russian ethnic groups, were in a state of crisis ethnicity, reacting to a perceived threat to their ethnic identity, increasing ethnic tensions and increased intra unity. In the face of rising ethnic tension imbalance in the demographic composition of the republics and inequali-ty in the ethnic groups in the " power structures " lead to the fact that ethnic minorities are becoming increas-ingly feel oppressed . They need not only in the social, legal and political protection.

Thе pаpеr dеаls with thе prоblеm оf influеncе оf pеrsоnаl rеlаtiоns systеm, its еthnic idеntity оn pеrsоnаl rеprеsеntаtiоns аbоut аn Enеmy. Thе rеsults оf thе study prоvе thаt rеspоndеnts with intеnsе pаrаmеtеr “sеnsе оf bеlоnging tо еthnic grоup” pеrcеivе аn Enеmy аs mаnipulаtоr mоrе thаn аs аgrеssоr. Uppеr lеvеls оf bеnеvоlеncе tо thе оthеrs аnd аdоptiоn оf оthеr pеоplе аrе cоnnеctеd with thе imаgе оf аn Enеmy аs thе subjеct with аliеn cоgnitiоns аnd vаluеs. The paper deals with all Russian and regional monitoring data considering the topical issue of collective identity of the peoples of the Republic of Kalmykia – Federal subject of the Russian Federation.
The article provides a theoretical analysis of scientific literature on the problem of ethnic identity and ethnic stereotypes among Armenian students. An empirical study was conducted using the testing method. The analysis of empirical data allowed us to prove the proposed hypothesis of the study and to prove the importance of studying such components as identity and stereotypes.
