The paper discusses the formation of ethnic tolerance in multicultural space of elementary school. Currently, more than ever there is a need to talk about ethnic tolerance of younger schoolboys, as foundation for development of an individual citizen. Special relevance of tolerance education gets in a multicultural environ-ment where you need to avoid situations inequalities children in their rights and duties. Multilanguage student environment often leads to selectivity in communication, national isolation groups.
The article is devoted to the study of the phenomenon of bilingualism in the works of V. Nabokov. The leading languages in the writer's work were Russian and English, each of which the writer assigns a certain role in shaping his artistic world. The linguistic specificity of the creative personality is determined and the analysis of the peculiarities of the peculiar linguistic consciousness that determines the importance of the bilingual cultural discourse of the Russian-American writer Nabokov is carried out.
The article considers the actual problem of national-Russian bilingualism and the ways of its development, taking into account bilingualism as a factor of human spiritual wealth and the enhancement of linguistic culture. The author pays special attention to the linguistic picture of the world, in which bilingualism is being formed and the essence of the spiritual values of a person influencing her inner world is emphasized. The analysis of the qualities that reveal the value of the reality of a bilingual person in a philosophical sense allows the author to conclude that the adaptive potential of people who speak two languages can be used in an educational environment as an effective model for the development of a spiritual and moral personality in a multicultural space. The theoretical conclusions of the study are based on the practical activities of a scientific laboratory operating in a branch of the Stavropol State Pedagogical Institute in Yessentuki and dealing with bilingual children from urban schools and kindergartens.
