The paper describes the methods to analyze the external environment of the tourism business. The authors classify the methods of strategic analysis of external and internal environment; conducted SWOT-analysis and PEST-analysis of the hotel complex “Oreanda”.
In article attempt of systematization applied in accordance with the requirements of the competitive market strategies. Effective management modern company involves achieving an optimal balance between risk and return. Every Manager looks for its own path of development, providing financial stability, increasing production efficiency, use of new forms of capital investment, cost-effective new production technology.
The article presents the most common method of analysis – SWOT-analysis, which allows an enterprise to analyze the state of the external and internal environment, identify opportunities and threats, its strengths and weaknesses. The definition of the SWOT-analysis method is given, its advantages and disadvantages for the strategic management of agricultural enterprises are described. A scheme for choosing a development strategy based on a SWOT analysis is presented. A SWOT-analysis of the activities of agricultural enterprises in the Zernograd region was carried out, their strengths and weaknesses, as well as opportunities and threats, were identified.
