The article examines the role of agriculture in ensuring economic growth in a pandemic, the challenges faced by agriculture in Central Asian countries The article provides an example of creating a value chain in agriculture, the role of the World Bank and other international financial institutions in the development of agriculture farms.

In this article, the author argues the choice of the city of Sochi for the creation of an agro-biotechnological park, justifying it by geographical, climatic, as well as economic advantages of the region. The goals and strategic significance of the creation of this innovative project are con-sidered. The article emphasises that the creation of a technopark in Sochi is designed not only to improve the efficiency of agriculture, but also to contribute to the socio-economic development of the entire region through a set of scientific research, innovative production, development of the educational sphere, increasing jobs and attracting investment, ensuring environmental safety and the development of agrotourism.

The unstable foreign policy situation and economic sanctions imposed against Russia have significantly complicated the development of the fishery complex, including the Kaliningrad region. The article examines the types of state support for the fishery complex and analyzes the structural changes in the regional fishery complex. The current problems of development and trends in changes in the regional fishery complex during the transitive period of development of the national economy are considered.
