Stereotypes in the context of intercultural communication are also considered, some examples of stable ideas about Russia taken from interviews with foreign citizens are given.The main methods used in the study are the method of oral questioning, or group conversation, and the written method of directed associative experiment.

the article deals with the problem of cross-modal interaction of various modality signals using the example of tactile and visual analyzers. The problem is interesting due to the fact that starting from the second third of the 20th century, Harris's point of view on cross-modal conflict was accepted, and it was not disputed. The study presents the analysis of the interaction of two modalities using the example of the circle anamorphism assessments and possible types of the effect manifestation, highlighting various groups. He reliability of the experimental results is estimated. It has been experimentally shown that the «theory of visual captivity» is not true.
