Electronic manual is an innovative and multifunctional means of teaching based on computer educational programs. Such parameters as multimedia, interaction, program code and content flexibility intensify and optimize the process of profession-oriented English teaching. The use of task variation, systems of naviga-tion, prompts, control and check of learnt material provide the cadets to be more active and work without assistance.
The article deals with the concept of "texts of a new nature", reveals its conceptual structure and distinctive features. Present-day sociocultural educational space is presented on the basis of the research of A. Toffler, D. Bell, M. Castells, M. Prensky, the distinctive features of work with the text in the modern generation of schoolchildren ("Digital natives") are revealed. In the context of GEF primary general education, the specificity of the use of "new nature texts" in the information educational environment for the education of junior schoolchildren is highlighted, some innovative approaches and examples of the successful application of infographics, hypertext, hypermedia, augmented reality are given. The conclusions give the possibilities and prospects for the application of "texts of a new nature" in the educational space of the primary school.
The аuthor suggests using hypertext educational space as an effective tool for professionally oriented learning in the system of Russian as a foreign language and models it based on the theory of speech acts.
The narrative organization of D. Setterfield’s The Thirteenth Tale is discussed from the point of view of ‘fiction writing’ stereotypical situation foregrounding by means of such cognitive frames as ‘writer’s activity’ ‘biographer’s activity’ ‘literary critic’s activity’. The examples of chapter names show, how the frame process model accentuates the non-fictional discourse within fiction.
The article is devoted to using an educational hypertext as a means for forming skills of reading English professionally oriented texts in the conditions of the information and educational environment.
