It should be noted that synecdoche in Kyrgyz proverbs compared to metaphor and metonymy is used as an artistic means and is realized with various semantic methods. This kind of expanded synecdoche use in Kyrgyz proverbs is analyzed in this article.

. It is noted that metonymy like metophores is also actively used in Kyrgyz proverbs. Proverbs express the generalization of some phenomena in a very brief condensed form, observing the rules of the statement with an accurate transmission of the idea. Therefore, proverbs can reflect a great idea briefly, but weighty. In such cases the role of polysemantic words is great. Metonymy is one of special ways to create such polysemy.

The issues of lexicographic portraiture of lexemes based on the material of monolingual dictionaries are discussed in this article. In particular, an attempt is made to present a lexicographic portrait of the lexeme Pfingsten based on the material of monolingual explanatory dictionaries of the German language; the semantics of this word, its compatibility, grammatical features, as well as information about the origin of the word are described here.
