The article is devoted to the description and analysis of different teaching techniques used to improve lexical skills. The authors investigate the peculiarities of these teaching techniques and present some tasks.

The article deals with grammar structures teaching through cross-cultural texts from the outside reading book for the first and second year cadets of the aviation institute and are given the most frequent grammar structures. The author eliminates grammar aspect of cross-cultural material as a special difficulty.
