The article offers tasks on functional literacy on the topic "Secrets of the Monrepos Park". Local history is one of the most important components in the development of citizenship and patriotism among students, so the choice of our topic is not accidental. One of the pearls and tourist centers of the city of Vyborg, located on the territory of South Karelia, is the Monrepos Park. It attracts tourists with unsolved riddles and beautiful views. Our tasks encourage students of grades 6-7 not only in the city of Vyborg, but also in other districts of the Leningrad region to plunge into the unique atmosphere of travel and riddles, but also to have a pleasant and informative time in a friendly team.
This article includes tasks in various areas of functional literacy (reading literacy, mathematical literacy, natural science literacy, global competencies and creative thinking). All materials are united by a common theme: "Metals". The tasks are designed for students of grade 9. The work is aimed at developing the individual's abilities to formulate, apply and interpret knowledge in a va-riety of contexts. The illustrations used in the work are taken from open sources on the Internet.
