The article deals with the students ' comprehension of the new knowledge obtained in the study of General technical disciplines provided by teachers at a military aviation University, and the process of converting new knowledge, which is the source material, into organized ones.
The article deals with the application of the cadet learning technology based on the principle of learnability, which is determined by the chosen educational and research activity based on self-learning with the help of a teacher, self-analysis of their learning ability and self-control in preparation for training sessions.
Modern trends in the transformation of higher education and the military organization of the state determine the improvement of the professional training of cadets in a military aviation university, the pedagogical system of which does not fully take into account the motivation of cadets and the need for self-improvement. The concept of forming a rating assessment of the professional activity of cadets-military pilots is based on functional, modular, system-structural, personal-activity approaches. The expediency of using quantitative assessment methods to determine the quality of cadets, their ranking and stimulation of activities are confirmed by the results of experimental work.
