The relevance of the studied problem is due to the following factors. The reform of military education, as well as the transition to training according to new educational state standards, require the development of new mechanisms, as well as organizational methodological, informational, scientific support of the educational process, development and implementation of training technologies that are adequate to changing conditions. In the curricula of military universities, the time allotted for the study of optics in the course of physics is not enough for serious assimilation of complex material. Meanwhile, this section of the physics course has a very wide application value. In order to solve the problem of time deficit, it is proposed to proceed to the review of recent optical achievements after a brief theoretical review. The lecturer can demonstrate the main optical models, laws and phenomena, as well as their use in science and technology in specific areas of modern optics development.
The article analyzes the important problem of improving the quality of physics education in modern conditions, focusing on the need to take into account the individual characteristics of students and integrate innovative educational technologies. Using the example of the optics section of physics, the article describes the implementation of a differentiated approach using STEM technologies, such as interactive simulators, virtual laboratories, and project assignments. The study found that this approach promotes active student engagement in the educational process and improves their understanding of complex physical phenomena.
