The article is devoted to the search for effective ways to improve the methods of studying synonymy at the Russian language lessons in modern high school. The author identifies the main directions of deepening and expanding information about synonymy in the framework of the systematic repetition of the Russian language course, pointing out the need for significant changes not only in the substantive but also in the methodological part of working with this phenomenon, which is considered to be the structure-forming principle of the language system present at all its levels. Special attention is paid to the technology of interactive learning, which has great potential in reorientation and intensification of synonymy study, which is able to incorporate successfully elements of the other innovative technologies, creating prerequisites for a qualitatively new level of this phenomenon development. The article contains the scientific-theoretical and methodological sub-sections, aims to study in detail the methodological foundations and tools for working with synonymy at the Russian language lessons in high school on an interactive basis.
The specific features of ICAO Aviation English and phraseology of radio communication as an important factor of safety of flights have been analyzed in the article. Priority directions of the difficulties, connected with polysemy and lexical homonymy have been outlined.
The article raises the question of the difficulties related to the translation of polysemantic legal lexis. Examples of how the same lexical unit can have different meanings depending on various factors are examined. In the analysis it was found that when translating polysemantic legal lexis, the context, the legal system, the branch of law, the type of text and the variant of the English language in which the lexical unit is used should be taken into consideration.
The article deals with the problems of studying medical terminology in the lessons of the native Russian language for students of a medical college. Medical terminology is one of the specific layers of vocabulary, which, due to the peculiarities of the structural-semantic, derivational and stylistic nature, differs from commonly used words and, thus, occupies a special place in the lexical system of the Russian language. The article proves the need to create an educational and methodological apparatus for the terminological training of medical students, describes the possibility of expanding the range of terms studied.
The meaning of the inner form of the word for establishing a conceptual link between polydenotative members of the synonymous row with the dominant отличный on the one hand and – on the other – the members with the common denotation of a positive assessment is considered in the article. The methods of conceptualization of positive evaluation are highlited through the investigation
