The issues of freedom of speech and press are discussed during the class in relation to mass media and shaping of public opinion.

The article considers the constituent elements for the integration of persons with disabilities and disabilities into society. A comparative analysis of public opinion research on the interaction of people with disabilities and HIA in society in the past years is carried out, research data on the current stage of development of Russian society are presented. The article also analyzes the process of transformation of public opinion in this direction.

Maugham demonstrates how his characters can reveal their inner strength and desire for self-realization, as well as challenge traditional notions of women's roles. Much attention is also paid to the portrayal of women from other ethnic groups, in case they turn out to be victims of colonial oppression. Furthermore, Maugham raises questions of the fate of unmarried women and their dependence on men and social norms. Maugham's literary work serves as a critique of the patriarchal attitudes of the early 20th century, exploring issues of inequality and the limitations of women's rights – topics that remain relevant today. The article offers a fresh perspective on female representations and their social roles in literature, opening new avenues for analysis.
