The article is devoted to analysis of the reasons for the limited effectiveness of psychological correction of codependency. Existential fears, rigidity, inversion of responsibility and the valency to the confluence are determined as determinants of resistance codependency.

The paper discusses the results of the study of gender characteristics of mental states of anxiety, frustration, aggressiveness, rigidity and their impact on the formation of social, psychological and emotional activity of adaptability of young personality.
