The article evaluates various interpretations of "social practices" concept in foreign and domestic social and philosophical works. The discussion aspects of the social practices institutionalization problem research are touched upon. A mass demand for “spiritual bonds” has been formed in society, which causes a search for a national idea, which will probably determine the vector of new value orientations for Russians.
