One of the global problems at present is suicide as a manifestation of deviant behavior in society. According to the World Health Organization, suicidal events among people aged 15–29 have doubled over the past 15 years, and they occupy leading positions in developed countries. Suicide takes the 4th place among adolescent mortality in the world after injuries, infectious and oncological diseases. Russia takes one of the leading positions on completed suicides among young people. There is an urgent need for the prevention of suicidal behavior among young people in our country. The optimal system of suicide prevention, intervention and postvention in practice unites the systems of education, health care, social protection, internal affairs, religious institutions, the efforts of non-governmental organizations, and also ensures a good connection between them. The main directions of prevention should be the early diagnosis of suicidal risk groups, the prevention of alcoholism and drug addiction among the population, the establishment of a full complement of suicide prevention services in each region of the country.
The population aging that has been actively taking place in recent years and the consequences caused by this phenomenon are of increasing interest to scientists and researchers from various fields of scientific knowledge. The relevance of issues related to old age and its perception in the public consciousness, stereotypical ideas about old age, as well as social problems associated with old age, is increasing. This article examines old age as a social problem, as well as ways to solve it on the example of the city of Moscow.
The article discusses art installations as a means of expressing acute social problems of society, such as racial discrimination, poverty, inequality, domestic violence, etc. The analysis of the works of contemporary artists reflecting in their art the "uncomfortable reality" of modern life is carried out. Judy Chicago (Judith Sylvia Cohen) reflected the role of women in history and culture with her installations, Luke Jerram and Fra Biankoshok – the problem of poverty, Vahit Tuna, Margarita Bakurskaya, Aizat and Aidana Ruslanovna – domestic violence, Urs Fischer – the problem of alcoholism. The author shows the importance of art and its interaction with social problems. Today, an art installation can be used as a visual form of expression of social problems of society. The relevance of this research is due to the need to show that installations become a way of attracting attention not only to artistic images, but also to social problems of society.
In this article we will look at the link between corruption and extremism, as well as the role of corruption prevention in the fight against this dangerous combination.
