This article is focused on the issue of positive motivation development in the process of professional English studying as a crucial condition of readiness for professional interaction. The authors of the article analyze the ways to increase the cadets’ level of motivation.
The article considers multimedia presentation as a modern and effective means of developing motivation to learn a foreign language, its main goals and objectives. The extensive possibilities of multimedia presentations in teaching phonetics, vocabulary, grammar, reading and listening are also considered, and the most frequently used exercises are given.
The article describes the experience of implementing the curator’s project «Graduates of the preschool department – young personnel in the uluses of Yakutia». The relevance of the project is due to the high demand for specialists in kindergartens, on the one hand, and the low motivation of graduates of pedagogical colleges to find employment in their specialty. To solve the problem, the author proposes a developed project, which provides for an analysis of vacancies and diagnostics of students’ motivation for teaching activities at the first stage of work. Supervisory hours that include students’ research activities, familiarization with regulatory documents, and meetings with young professionals working in kindergartens. The article also summarizes the results of the project, containing figures on the employment of graduates with whom the project was implemented.
The article "Stimulating teachers' participation in professional development programs: aspiration and motivation" discusses the importance of teachers' active participation in the process of improving their skills to ensure quality education. The article considers two key aspects: the desire for self-development and motivation for teachers to act. The approaches to stimulating participation presented in the article include the creation of attractive educational programs, a variety of learning formats, flexible schedules and availability of educational resources, as well as the provision of in-centives and support from the administration and colleagues. The author concludes that the successful stimulation of teachers' participation in professional development programs requires an integrated approach and constant analysis of the results to ensure continuous professional development and improve the quality of education.
