The article investigates ideoethnic characteristics of Russian and British communities through two types of analysis: on the basis of social and business characteristics presented in the model of cultural dimensions typology by G. Hofstede and the linguistic analysis of phraseological units. The relevance of the work is confirmed by the formulation of business strategies in Russian and British business environment for effective intercultural interaction.

The main components of the teacher's speech culture are considered in the article, which are considered to be an actual problem of modern education. And also the key theoretical moments that form the speech of the teacher in the conditions of his activity are presented. And also the main terminology of the chosen subjects is analyzed.
