The article is devoted to the search for effective ways to improve the methods of studying synonymy at the Russian language lessons in modern high school. The author identifies the main directions of deepening and expanding information about synonymy in the framework of the systematic repetition of the Russian language course, pointing out the need for significant changes not only in the substantive but also in the methodological part of working with this phenomenon, which is considered to be the structure-forming principle of the language system present at all its levels. Special attention is paid to the technology of interactive learning, which has great potential in reorientation and intensification of synonymy study, which is able to incorporate successfully elements of the other innovative technologies, creating prerequisites for a qualitatively new level of this phenomenon development. The article contains the scientific-theoretical and methodological sub-sections, aims to study in detail the methodological foundations and tools for working with synonymy at the Russian language lessons in high school on an interactive basis.
The author of the article is bringing attention to the question about a capability of literary text to explicate potential opportunities of the various Linguistics elements and mechanisms. The process of explication in the aspect of a producing essence of language is being considering (naming, renaming, diminutives), research is basing on a novel «The Abode», Zakhar Prilepin.
The article is devoted to the consideration of the issue of intercultural communication on the example of a holiday as an effective form of pedagogical education. Studying holidays with the help of an integrated lesson contributes to the formation of sociocultural competence in foreign students, allowing them to accurately understand the traditions, culture and customs of the Russian people. During training students receive cultural information about the country of the language being studied which contributes to the adaptation of students in a new language environment.

The article examines the meaning of the myth about the influence of the Mongol-Tatar yoke on the national character of the Russian people in the context of the opposition of Russia to the countries of Western Europe. The authors analyze the ethnicity of Genghis Khan’s era Mongols. They discuss the role and significance of historical myths in the geopolitical struggle.
