Analysis of research on the problem of mental activity and its disorders in mental retardation

The article is devoted to the study of the problem of thinking as an activity. The ideas about the structure of mental activity and methods of its clinical and psychological analysis in pathopsychology and neuropsychology are considered. The features of the formation of thinking in children with normal ontogenesis and mental retardation are analyzed.
