The article investigates the outcomes of a linguo-conceptual analysis of lexical units within the denotative class in Russian poetry from the 18th to the 21st centuries, with a focus on their lexicographic representation. To achieve this, an overview of writers' dictionaries is conducted, and an attempt is made to formulate the content of the artistic image in the form of a dictionary entry, listing those aesthetic meanings and associations that have gradually formed in the works of Russian poets. The central aim is to demonstrate how this collected material can be structured not merely descriptively but through a systematic lexicographic approach.

The article examines the semantic field of phytonyms in the selected poetry of Tamara Krasnova-Gusachenko, a Russian-speaking poet from Belarus. Attention is drawn to the functioning of phytonyms in poetic texts, their function is determined, and the specifics of the author's style are revealed. In T. Krasnova-Gusachenko's poetry, phytonyms play a crucial role in creating artistic imagery.
