The language situation in the Russian Federation is very complex and diverse. Urgent as the problem to develop a coherent concept of formation and development of school bilingualism, and the search for optimal ways of its implementation in the different actual conditions of the functioning of bilingualism in society and in national education systems. The article is devoted to the problem of teaching Russian as a foreign language on the example of primary Adyghe school.

The article reveals the essence of the concepts "adaptation" (from the point of view of different scientific fields), "social adaptation", "pedagogical adaptation", "psychological adaptation". In this article the efficiency rather - a comparative method of studying of the Russian literature at bilingual school is considered.
