The article presents the data of theoretical and experimental studies on the features of the personality development of teenagers studying in a boarding school of sanatorium type for children in need of long-term treatment. The developed and tested developmental program of person-based psychological support for teenagers helps to achieve significant positive dynamics in the development of the personal characteristics of students.

The article is devoted to the study of ideas about the professions in adolescents with mental retardation. Two groups of high school students were surveyed: orphans and teenagers living in families. Researchers established differences in the perception of professions for each group of subjects. It is noted that all adolescents feel the need for psychological and pedagogical support for adequate selection of an acceptable sphere of activity and subsequent inclusion in the workforce.
This article examines the role of the digital educational environment in the organization of various forms of educational activities in a small hospital school. The article includes recommendations for creating a proper developing digital environment that has a positive effect on the development of educational abilities of children undergoing long-term treatment in a hospital of a medical institution, in accordance with the requirements of the Federal Educational State Standard.
Social intelligence is one of the most important factors of successful social adaptation of a person; this concept reflects the level of ability to understand other people, predict the consequences of social interaction, as well as build their own behavior depending on the situation for productive interaction with the social environment. This article is aimed at studying the features of the social intelligence of adolescents studying in a residential educational institution.
