This article discusses various violations that occur in the media when used, as well as the study of trends in changes in the norms of the Russian language and extrapolation. Change, neglect and, in a sense, violation of linguistic norms can be considered as an indicator of the degradation of society while striving for world globalization, and, accordingly, development, which implies compliance with the high standards of this environment.
In our study, we will rely on the interpretation of the concept of extrapolation as an opportunity to save for future use the conclusions, analysis, comprehension and practical processing of information formulated in the system of recommendations for predicting options for the development of these norms.
At the present stage of development of the Russian literary language, when the democratization of society leads to a decrease in the importance of language norms, the use of codified phraseological units is replaced by phrases with the same meaning, but the way of expression is determined by the requirements of the modern stage of development of society (brightness, colorfulness, selection of lexical means for an extraordinary expression of an idea). The first option is falling into disuse, it is found in fiction as a stable expression, there is a tendency for a slow transition to the category of obsolete, since it is used less and less in speech, it is actively replaced by the second, expressive one.
