The article deals with «word of the year»'s functioning as a lingua-cultural concept in the aspect of the factors of emerging of certain concept nominations in different cultures, the functioning dynamics and the degree of correlation in the concept choice are analyzed. The results of the analysis can illustrate the linc between social cultural values typical of a given time period and verbal representation of the concept, reflecting this epistemic meaning.

The article describes the patterns of construction of the legal text. The concept of «legal text» is defined by the author as part of the legal discourse, which has specific features. Arguments are given to determine the difference between a legal text conditioned by legal discourse and another text. An analysis of the practical material demonstrates the regularity of the put forward provisions.
