The article is devoted to the study and analysis of the role of sociology in public administration and economics in the context of modern geopolitical dynamics. It is noted that social sciences have a significant impact on decision-making in the public sector and business. Thus, modern governance requires the integration of sociological research for a deeper understanding of social processes and the development of effective strategies adapted to changes in the global political environment.

The article analyzes the role and significance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the economic development of the Republic of Crimea and the Russian Federation as a whole.
