The paper shows that particularly emotionally stable personality lead to the development of emotional burnout syndrome; prevention of the development of this syndrome is proposed to start with the formation of professional cognitive activity of an individual at the stage of university education.
The article deals with the interconnection between E.A. Poe’s prose and poetry themes and facts of his biography. The plots of Poe’s works are viewed within the context of imagery and themes the writer touches upon. The authors come to the conclusion that parallels can be drawn between Poe’s fiction motifs and the tragic events of the classic’s personal life. The survey has established that the biographical character and realism of Poe’s writing is a key to his worldwide popularity.
The article presents the results of an empirical study of the psychological characteristics of patients with osteoarthritis. The authors conclude that the personality of patients with osteoarthritis is characterized by: adequate self-esteem, increased situational anxiety with a tendency to predominate hyperthymic, emotive, dysthymic types of character accentuation, with a high level of neuroticism and with a low level of psychopathization. From this point of view, the need for psychological assistance that helps to overcome the barriers to rehabilitation, leveling the attitude to hospitalization, is not in doubt.
The article is devoted to the peculiarities of adolescence associated with physical, emotional and social changes. The author explores the role of choral singing and musical education in overcoming the difficulties of this period. Using the example of working with the Baltika choral group, it is shown how music helps teenagers cope with emotional instability, strengthens mental health, develops creative abilities and forms value orientations. Special attention is paid to the im-portance of the teacher's professionalism and the creation of a supportive atmosphere in the team.
