The Krasnodar edge is a pilot region of increase of financialliteracy of population. The integrated assessment of income and expenditure patterns of households in the Krasnodar region. The level of financialliteracy is formed by financial education and skills of the use of knowledge in everyday life.

The article reveals the factors influencing the formation of the population basic incomes. The authors note the indicators characteristic to the structure of the population with incomes below subsistence minimum. They present statistical analysis and estimate the level of population incomes during the long-term period of the study, as well as the level of real wages taking into account the inflation level and the US dollar rate.
