The article considers various interactive technologies that can be used in the process of teaching a foreign language. It also analyses such interactive technologies as project method, case study, brainstorming method, discussion method. In addition, it considers the advantages of these interactive technologies.
This article examines the relevance of the use of modern English-language news resources for teaching professional vocabulary to international relations students. In the course of the research the list of media sources whose materials can be used in the educational process is provided and their didactic possibilities were studied. Some practical recommendations, for example on the use of English-language news resources in foreign language classes in educational institutions of higher education are given. The author describes the possibilities of English radio stations, television channels, newspapers and magazines.
The article considers interpretation of similar but nonidentical notions: “teacher’s professional mission”, “teacher’s competence” “pedagogical vocation”. It is necessary to give a new meaning to the role of a foreign language teacher regarding the new political and economic situation in the world. Innovations taking place in the Russian educational system reflect not only the change in the role of a teacher, but also the new trends in organizing the process of education.
The article presents the interpretation of the concepts of «interaction», «interactivity», «interactive technologies» through the prism of their use in teaching a foreign language. The article discusses the effective use of interactive technologies in the educational process in foreign language lessons in elementary school. Examples of the effective use of interactive technologies in foreign language lessons in elementary school are given.
This article reveals the essence of compensatory competence as the most important component of foreign language communicative competence, and analyzes different approaches to its interpretation in the works of Russian and foreign researchers. Different approaches to understanding compensatory competence and the author's understanding of the essence of compensatory competence are reflected.
