ON THE ISSUE OF CLASSIFYING NON-EQUIVALENT VOCABULARY AND HOW TO TRANSMIT IT INTO RUSSIAN AND ENGLISH IN THE OLONKHO “NURGUN BOOTUR THE SWIFT”

This article analyzes the non-equivalence of fishing line on the material of the Yakut heroic epic olonkho “NurgunBootur the Swift” and translations into Russian and English. Based on the collected material in the amount of 795 lexical units, a classification is made and the main ways of translating selected groups of non-equivalent vocabulary are identified. The theoretical basis of this article was composed by the work of famous researchers in the theory of translation, language and culture.
