Communicative and pragmatic peculiarities of the language game are distinguished in the article. The model of communicative situation of D. Hymes is put into the bases. A speech game may be built on the violation of each aspects of such situation. The roles of an addresser and an addressee; the category of «subject of speech» (topic); circumstances, it means the place, the date and another important parameters; communica-tive channel; code, that is language, dialect, style, form of communication or a speech genre; communicative event; a key is the assessment of effectiveness of communicative event; the aim is the category which shows the motivation of the participants of the communicative situation.

The article deals with the main features of poems that are attributed to gaming poetry. We analyze the characteristic features of poems, such as the game basis, rhythmic structure and lexical features of the text. We come to the conclusion that these characteristic features of game poetry make it possible to use them as tools for working with children with severe speech disorders.
The article offers options for various game exercises used by the author when working on vocabulary and grammar of the German language with first-year German beginners. These exercises are designed to help students learn the complex phonetic, vocabulary, and grammatical items of the German language in complex from the very first lessons and in relaxing atmosphere.
The article uses the example of a language game to consider the problem of distinguishing homonymous wordforms in Russian. In cases where the context is insufficient for the initial correct perception of the meaning, it is suggested to use the method of grammatical analysis in combination with logical-semantic analysis. This technique involves the gradual “unpacking” of all possible meanings of homoforms and the parallel revealing of their syntactic functions and logical connections with other components of the sentence.
The article deals with grammatical deviance in the media and Internet communication in the dynamics of social changes that affect the linguistic "taste" of society and are reflected in the field of communication.
