The article interprets the concept of «reader's interest» as part of cognitive interest; the factors influencing the development of the reader's interest of younger schoolchildren are identified, the features of using the myQuiz platform in literary reading lessons and extracurricular activities for the purpose of developing the reader's interest of younger schoolchildren are revealed.
The article is devoted to the problem of moral education of younger schoolchildren. The experience of using methods such as reading and analyzing texts of works of art about animals, role-playing games, and creative tasks in pedagogical practice is being studied, which contribute to a deep understanding of the material and emotional responsiveness. The article concludes that an integrated approach, including a variety of methods and techniques, contributes to a significant increase in cognitive interest among younger schoolchildren, forming in them a stable motivation to learn and an ecological culture.
The article is devoted to the study of scientific and educational works in elementary school. The necessity of work of younger schoolchildren with scientific and educational texts is substantiated. The methods of working with scientific and educational works are defined: drawing up a “ladder of questions”, a cloud of concepts, drawing up an information plan, literary games and others. Examples of the implementation of these techniques in the study of cognitive works included in the reading circle of younger schoolchildren are given.
