Since intercultural conflicts lead to imbalances in society, and in some places to the loss of national identity, accul-turation strategies that migrants choose for their own adaptation to life in a multicultural environment are very important. The article presents the concept of intercultural interaction and, accordingly, four acculturation strategies proposed by the Canadian scientist J. Berry, namely: assimilation, separation/segregation, marginalization and integration. It is determined that the integration strategy is considered the most successful.
