Development of moral and ethical orientation of primary school students with mild mental retardation
The article is devoted to the problem of formation of moral ethical orientation in mild mental retardation. Moral and ethical orientation is considered in the article as a component of moral development of personality. The article analyses the peculiarities of thinking disorders and emotional intelligence in persons with mental retardation that complicate the formation of moral and ethical orientation.
The article defines the importance of hand-eye coordination for preschool children with mental retardation. Based on the theoretical provisions, conclusions have been drawn about the need to investigate the complex of components that are interconnected in the process of forming visual-motor function. It is noted that it is necessary to study various diagnostic techniques that make it possible to assess the level of formation of visual-motor coordination in preschoolers with ASD, and the criteria for selecting diagnostic procedures for use in the correctional process of preschool institutions with ASD children are considered.
The article discusses technologies for the formation of graphomotor skills in children with mental retardation. The main difficulties encountered by children in the course of mastering writing were analyzed. The main areas of work are named, which include the development of fine motor skills of the hands, the development of hand-eye coordination, and the formation of graphic skills.
This article examines the peculiarities of perception and understanding of the read text in primary school children with ASD. The psychological and pedagogical characteristics of children with ASD, their features affecting the processes of reading and understanding the text are described. The main factors causing difficulties in the perception of textual information are identified: reduced memory capacity, limited vocabulary, uneven development of mental functions, the most common mistakes made by children of the represented nosological group when working with text are highlighted.
The article examines the theoretical and applied aspects of correctional and pedagogical activities on the use of gaming technologies in the formation of communicative competence of preschoolers with mental retardation. The results of an empirical study of the communication skills of older preschoolers with mental retardation are presented and analyzed. A low level of formation of children's communicative competence has been revealed, which requires special correctional work. Its main directions with the use of gaming technologies are outlined.
