The article describes the modern Russian society, where the problem of identifying and defining the modern symbolism of patriotism is becoming acute, and the problem of analyzing the modern formation of patriotic symbols is becoming more acute: what events in this context are included in the symbolization, on what grounds, what exactly is selected as content. The solution to this problem needs to be accelerated, since it is directly related to the level of development of the resource of patriotism and the possibilities of solving such problems for the development of our society, which can only be managed on the basis of patriotic activation of the population.
