The article gives a theoretical substantiation of the significance of the development of preschool children in the game, shows the features of playing games in a preschool institution and the influence of the game on the formation of a child's personality. The substantiation of the significance of games is given, in which the main core is the objective activity of people, in which the main content is obedience to the rules of social behavior and social relations between people.
