Formation of moral qualities in children of senior preschool age through communicative communication
Our article considers the current problem of education of moral qualities and moral values of children of senior preschool age. Such concepts as "morality", "education", "moral education" are considered, the purpose and functions of moral education are highlighted. To study the level of development of moral qualities of preschool children, the following diagnostic methods were selected and applied: "Finish the story" – a modified version by R. M. Kalinina, "Unfinished situations" by A. M. Shchetinina, L. V. Kirsa. The results of the study showed insufficient formation of moral qualities in older preschoolers. Methods for the assimilation of moral ideas and moral values in children are proposed.
This article reflects how plot-role, collective, competitive and theatrical games affect the development of communication skills in preschool children. The definitions of the concepts "leading activity", "communication skills" are given. Also given the definitions of the concepts of "role-playing game", "theatrical games".
