The article discusses the definition of self-regulation, describes the main quality of arbitrary regulation of activity, its functional units. The results of research on age features of this ability in children with normal speech development, and children with speech pathology.
The article is dedicated to the youngest pre-school children's psychological and pedagogical development of self-adjustment studying in conditions of extra-curriculum education. The article presents the analysis of the definitions of self-regulation and self-adjustment and the processes of mental self-adjustment are named. The main aspects of development conditions of the youngest pre-school children are revealed. The relevance of difficulties in learning activity and the ability of the youngest pre-school children’s self-adjustment is shown.

The article gives a factor analysis of the causes and conditions of a low level of police officers’ psychological readiness for firearms lawful use. These factors are systematized. Specific measures for increasing the level of psychological preparedness of a policeman for the lawful use of weapons have been formulated.
The article provides a definition of the effectiveness of macroeconomic regulation as the actions of the government and the central bank, which bring the country's national economy into equilibrium or close to it. The author attempts to determine the effectiveness of macroeconomic regulation in the US in the short and long term. To do this, we consider the dynamics of inflation from the mid-17th century, as well as the dynamics of the equilibrium (potential) and real GDP over the past 100 years. The author separates periods when the forces of self-regulation dominated in the national economy, and when developed macroeconomic regulation was established as a way of streamlining the national economy. As a result of conducted analysis, relevant conclusions were made about the effectiveness of macroeconomic regulation in the United States compared with the effect of self-regulation forces.
