The article discusses the definition of self-regulation, describes the main quality of arbitrary regulation of activity, its functional units. The results of research on age features of this ability in children with normal speech development, and children with speech pathology.
The article sums up the study of the formation of nouns with diminutive value at preschool children with the general underdevelopment of speech.
