The possibility of use of a designing method in education is considered in the article, types of social projects are presented, the experience of realization of social projects by students is considered.

The article presents the experience of organizing continuity in the "kindergarten-school" system in the form of a volunteer movement. The directions of the volunteer movement are revealed - the interaction of pupils of primary classes and pupils of a kindergarten; interaction of pupils of a kindergarten and employees of a grammar school; interaction of parents of pupils of a kindergarten and employees of a grammar school. Experience of creation of an individual children's project on the theme "Preservation of historical memory of the younger generation by means of volunteer movement in the system of kindergarten-school" is described.

The article discusses approaches to the definition of “social business” concept, analyzes some features of solving social problems with the help of social business abroad and in Russia. The author highlights some peculiarities of this type of business activity formation as the basic institution of civil society in our country. The existing problems of social business in Russia are analyzed.
