The article examines the essence and structure of the concept of “critical thinking”, reveals the role of training sessions in the development of critical thinking, describes the results of a study among students of the Verkhnevilyuysk secondary school No. 2 named after. M.T. Egorov and the implementation of a program for the development of critical thinking among adolescents.
The article describes adolescent and youth subcultures as a social phenomenon. The psychological characteristics of their representatives are revealed. The diagnosis of psychological characteristics of representatives of adolescent and youth subcultures was carried out. Then, based on the data obtained, recommendations were developed for the organization of a differentiated socio-pedagogical approach with representatives of adolescent and youth subcultures.
The article presents the results of an empirical study on the existence of a relationship between self-esteem and the degree of perfectionism in adolescents. The author substantiates the relevance of the analysis of this problem in adolescence. A correlation analysis of the results revealed the presence of an inverse significant relationship between the level of self-esteem, in particular, on the scales of "self-confidence", "character" and "peer authority", and the degree of severity of socially prescribed perfectionism. The findings will be of interest to educational psychologists and educators in organizing developmental work on the formation of self-esteem and reducing perfectionism in adolescence.
