The article is devoted to the analysis of the peculiarities of communication on the Internet between young people in France. Social networks such as Facebook, Tweeter, Instagram, Snapchat are popular all over the world, including France and French-speaking countries. Communication in the Internet has its own laws. Much of what is permissible in oral speech will seem out of place in writing. Social life is gaining momentum every day, enriching Internet slang with new units, including those borrowed from the English language.
The article focuses on the actuality of improving lexical skills in the process of language learning and acquisition at secondary school with the help of using educational web-applications. The concepts of lexical skills and web-application are considered, particular examples of applications are provided. Recommendations for their use in the learning process are given. The authors summarize personal experience and assess practical results.
The article focuses on the relevance of the formation of lexical and grammatical skills in the process of foreign language education at the middle stage through information and educational technology, namely video resources. The concepts of lexical skills, grammatical skills and video resources are discussed in detail, the stages of preparation for this type of work are described. The positive aspects of the technology are analyzed, the conditions for its implementation are specified. The authors’ personal experience is summarized, a fragment of the lesson is given, the practical results obtained are evaluated, and practical recommendations are presented.
