The paper focuses on a model of developing jazz repertory technique on specialized saxophone classes at the higher education institutions. The author analyzes Russian and foreign jazz study guides concerning text interpretation; discusses theoretical questions on jazz compositions’ rendition; provides recommendations on performing compositions close to their originals.
In the article the capability of speaking a foreign language the pronunciation of the native speaker, i.e. without an accent, is analyzed. The author comments upon the factors that affect the development of articulation in general.
The article is focused on the methodology for empirical data analysis that was collected during the sociophonetic experiment. For that purpose, the native speakers of German recorded their oral speech. They produced a number of sentences, which contained the stimuli words – the borrowings from the English language. It will allow to highlight the pronunciation features of the respondents in a most objective way. Thus I can determine cases of sound substitution, elision, epenthesis, and accentuation in accordance with the rules of mother tongue.
The article is devoted to the formation of phonetic skills in the classroom on the discipline "Russian as a foreign language" in the Introductory phonetic and grammatical conversational course. The article highlights the principles of selection of educational material and its content, discusses the types of exercises for the formation of phonetic skills, features of work on articulation and intonation.
The article presents the results of an experimental study aimed at developing articulatory skills in 5–6-year-old children with open rhinolalia using sensory-integrative gymnastics. At the ascertaining stage, violations of articulatory praxis were revealed. The formative stage included the development and use of a complex of sensory-integrative gymnastics aimed at the formation of articulatory practice. During the classes, exercises were used to develop the accuracy of movements, strengthen the muscles of the articulatory apparatus and improve sensory integration.
