Design is considered in the psychological and historical aspect as a type of human activity. The definition of pedagogical design is given as the conception, preliminary development of the main details, the upcoming educational activities of the teacher and the student. The article describes the application of project activities in the foreign educational practice of J. R. R. Tolkien. Dewey and William Kilpatrick and design in the domestic pedagogical practice of A. S. Makarenko and theory of V. P. Bespalko. Features of fixing the project method first in the domestic school, then in the preschool educational organization (pre-school). Various aspects of the design of the educational process in pre-school educational institutions are analyzed.
The article considers the model of managing the organization of extracurricular activities on the basis of additional education in primary school, which is called "School-city House of culture-College of culture". Key points of the mechanism of organizing extracurricular activities: goal setting, regulatory framework, methodological, information and organizational support, human and financial resources, material and technical base, performance diagnostics.
The article raises the problem of designing a digital platform designed to support in the learning process both the student and the teacher, who is also studying, improving qualifications, diagnosing and self-diagnosing professional competencies in order to select a suitable advanced training program. The requirements for the designed platforms, the conditions for their implementation and functions are formulated. Screenshots of some windows of the platform to accompany the activities of students are given.
