The space of any school is an exclusive educational environment made by the teaching staff for such purposes as global students’ development, improvement of the quality of education in different subjects and creating personalities. Exclusive educational environment of the school number 174 of the Central District of St. Petersburg was being created by the teaching staff of the school for many years and was completely formed after the overhaul in 2011. Now it allows carrying out the educational process in unique environment.

The paper is devoted to students’ assistance and support in their professional self-determination. The authors suggest the ways, in which the process of tutor support of professional self-determination of students with use of possibilities of integration of general and additional education and technologies built on the basis of event-driven, student-centered approaches.
